External guides at top of base section securely interlock rails. Two sets on D6240-2. Rugged gravity-spring locks operate smoothly. Rope clamp ties rope to rung. Extruded aluminum shoe with ste el ice-pick plate. Base and fly easy to separate. Equipped with heavy duty pulley with rope except for No. D6216-2. Molded rung braces. Durable rail shield bracket and shoe with shu-lok, slip-resistant pad and spur plate. Dimensions: Flange 1-3/16″ wide; rungs 1-1/2″; Fly width 16″ outside rails; Base width 19″ outside shoes.
